Product Description
The VF10G Askubal is a versatile rod end that consists of a housing with integral shank and a spherical plain bearing. This bearing, comprised of inner and outer rings without rolling elements, can accommodate misalignment and support radial forces in both tensile and compressive directions. Equipped with a steel-on-bronze sliding contact, this bearing offers high wear-resistance and low friction, although its load capacity is slightly lower than bearings with steel-on-steel sliding contacts. Regular maintenance, including proper lubrication, is necessary to minimize friction and prevent fouling and corrosion. This makes the VF10G Askubal ideal for mounting on the end of hydraulic or pneumatic cylinders, as well as connecting two shafts.
