Product Description
The SSC14 Hirschmann is a high-capacity spherical plain bearing with a two-piece design, featuring a convex outer surface on the inner ring and a concave inner surface on the outer ring to accommodate misalignment. It utilizes a steel-on-bronze sliding contact that provides excellent wear resistance and low friction, although its load capacity is slightly lower than bearings with steel-on-steel sliding contacts. Regular maintenance and proper lubrication are necessary to optimize performance and prevent fouling and corrosion.
