Product Description
The SMLXC14 Hirschmann is a rod end featuring a spherical plain bearing with a steel-on-bronze sliding contact. This highly wear-resistant bearing is designed to accommodate misalignment and support radial forces in a tensile or compressive direction. It is commonly used at the end of hydraulic or pneumatic cylinders and for connecting shafts. While offering low friction, it requires regular maintenance and proper lubrication to reduce friction and prevent fouling and corrosion.
