Product Description
The SMLCP5 Hirschmann is a rod end featuring a spherical plain bearing that includes a steel-on-PTFE sliding contact for maintenance-free operation. This component is designed for mounting on hydraulic or pneumatic cylinders, as well as for connecting two shafts. Its inner and outer rings, without rolling elements, are capable of accommodating misalignment and supporting radial forces in a tensile or compressive direction. Additionally, the PTFE sliding contact fills in small irregularities of the inner ring surface during the run-in period to create a smooth and perfect fit between components.
