Product Description
The SMC3 Hirschmann is a durable rod end designed for mounting on hydraulic or pneumatic cylinders and for connecting two shafts. The spherical plain bearing, featuring a steel-on-bronze sliding contact, is highly wear-resistant and provides low friction. It does require regular maintenance and proper lubrication to reduce friction and prevent fouling and corrosion, but it offers excellent support for radial forces and misalignment.
