Product Description
The SIKAC10M AKN is a rod end that consists of a housing with integral shank and a spherical plain bearing, designed to accommodate misalignment and support radial forces in a tensile or compressive direction. It is commonly used on the end of hydraulic or pneumatic cylinders and to connect two shafts.
This rod end features a spherical plain bearing with a steel-on-bronze sliding contact, offering high wear-resistance and low friction. However, it has a slightly lower load capacity compared to bearings with steel-on-steel sliding contacts and requires regular maintenance, including proper lubrication to reduce friction and prevent fouling and corrosion.
