Product Description
The SI15C SKF is a versatile rod end featuring a housing with integral shank and a maintenance-free spherical plain bearing with steel-on-PTFE sliding contact. This design allows it to accommodate misalignment, support radial forces in a tensile or compressive direction, and connect two shafts. The run-in period deposits PTFE particles on the opposite running surface, creating a smooth surface and ensuring a perfect fit between components. This makes it an ideal choice for applications such as mounting on the end of hydraulic or pneumatic cylinders.
