Product Description
The SFCP12 Hirschmann is a rod end with a spherical plain bearing that supports radial forces and can accommodate misalignment. It is commonly used at the end of hydraulic or pneumatic cylinders and to connect two shafts. The spherical plain bearing has a steel-on-PTFE sliding contact, making it maintenance-free. During the run-in period, particles of PTFE are deposited on the opposite running surface, filling in small irregularities and creating a smooth surface for perfect component fit.
