Product Description
The POSB16 IKO is a rod end featuring a housing with integral shank and a spherical plain bearing. Ideal for mounting at the end of hydraulic or pneumatic cylinders or connecting two shafts, it accommodates misalignment and supports radial forces in a tensile or compressive direction. The bearing has a steel-on-bronze sliding contact, offering high wear-resistance and low friction, albeit with a slightly lower load capacity than bearings with steel-on-steel sliding contacts. Regular maintenance, including proper lubrication, is necessary to reduce friction and prevent fouling and corrosion.
