Product Description
The LM844010 FAG is an outer ring cup designed for a single-row tapered roller bearing. When combined with a separate cone, it forms a complete tapered roller bearing with conical raceways and roller elements for absorbing radial and axial forces in one direction. The bearing’s design prevents sliding and minimizes wear, but a minimum load is required for proper operation. The separable cone and cup make for easy assembly and adjustment of end play or preload. For reliable operation, it’s best to replace both the cone and cup at the same time, using components from the same manufacturer to prevent bearing problems. Always pair the LM844010 FAG with a matching cone from the same manufacturer.
