Product Description
The L44610 Koyo (JTEKT) is a cup designed for a single-row tapered roller bearing. It serves as the outer ring and can be paired with a compatible cone to form the complete bearing. The conical raceways and roller elements enable the bearing to absorb radial and axial forces effectively. The design minimizes sliding movements and wear between components but requires a minimum load for proper operation. The separable cone and cup allow for easy mounting and adjustment of axial clearance or preload during assembly. For reliable performance, it’s recommended to replace both the cone and cup at the same time, preferably from the same manufacturer to avoid potential bearing problems.
