Product Description
The KI16-DM16X1,5 Askubal is a rod end featuring a housing, integral shank, and a spherical plain bearing. This bearing has an inner and outer ring without rolling elements. It is commonly used at the end of hydraulic or pneumatic cylinders and for shaft connections. The rod end can handle misalignment and provides support for radial forces in both tensile and compressive directions.
Notably, the KI16-DM16X1,5 has a maintenance-free spherical plain bearing with a steel-on-PTFE sliding contact. This results in a run-in period where PTFE particles are deposited on the opposite running surface, filling in small irregularities and creating a smooth fit.
