Product Description
The KAL3 Askubal is a rod end featuring a spherical plain bearing with a steel-on-bronze sliding contact. It is commonly used at the end of hydraulic or pneumatic cylinders and to connect two shafts, accommodating misalignment and supporting radial forces in tension or compression.
With its steel-on-bronze sliding contact, this bearing offers high wear resistance and low friction, though its load capacity is slightly lower than bearings with steel-on-steel sliding contacts, requiring regular maintenance and proper lubrication to minimize friction and prevent fouling and corrosion.
