Product Description
The K497 FAG is a removable cone for a single-row tapered roller bearing, comprising the inner ring and rollers. When combined with a separately available cup (outer ring), it forms a complete tapered roller bearing. Its conical raceways and tapered rollers enable it to absorb radial and axial forces in one direction, reducing component wear. It requires a minimum load for proper operation and its separable design allows for easy mounting and adjustment of end play or preload. For reliable operation, it is recommended to replace both the cone and cup at the same time from the same manufacturer to prevent compatibility issues.
