Product Description
The K27620 BTC is an outer ring designed for use with a single-row tapered roller bearing. By combining it with a separate cone, a complete tapered roller bearing can be formed. This design allows the bearing to absorb radial and axial forces in one direction, with the axial load capacity increasing as the angle between the outer ring and bearing centerline increases. The geometric qualities of tapered roller bearings minimize sliding movements and component wear. Proper operation requires a minimum load, and the separable cone and cup make mounting and adjusting end play or preload easy. For reliable operation, it is best to replace both the cone and cup at the same time, and to use components from the same manufacturer to prevent bearing problems caused by differences in internal profiles, material, and tolerances.
