Product Description
The JH10 Asahi is a rod end featuring a spherical plain bearing with steel-on-steel sliding contact. Its housing integrates a shank and a bearing made of inner and outer steel rings without rolling elements. This design allows for accommodating misalignment and supporting radial forces in a tensile or compressive direction, commonly used at the end of hydraulic or pneumatic cylinders, or for connecting shafts. Bearings with this design are wear-resistant and have a high load carrying capacity, but require regular maintenance and proper lubrication for reducing friction and preventing fouling and corrosion.
