Product Description
The GK17DO Elges is a rod end with a spherical plain bearing made of steel-on-steel sliding contact. This type of bearing is wear-resistant and can handle high loads, but it needs regular maintenance and proper lubrication to reduce friction and prevent fouling and corrosion. Rod ends are commonly used at the end of hydraulic or pneumatic cylinders and to connect two shafts, as they can accommodate misalignment and support radial forces in both tensile and compressive directions.
