Product Description
The GIL80-UK-2RS-A by INA is a rod end featuring a housing with an integral shank and a spherical plain bearing. This bearing is constructed of an inner and outer ring, without any rolling elements. Commonly used as a mounting for hydraulic or pneumatic cylinders, rod ends are also employed to connect two shafts, offering support for radial forces in both tensile and compressive directions and accommodating misalignment. The GIL80-UK-2RS-A features a maintenance-free steel-on-PTFE sliding contact, wherein particles of PTFE are deposited on the opposite running surface during the run-in period. This results in a smooth surface and perfect component fit.
