Product Description
The GE8CSS ISB is a spherical plain bearing designed with a steel-on-PTFE sliding contact for maintenance-free use. This two-piece bearing consists of an inner and outer ring, featuring a convex outer surface and a concave inner surface. Its unique construction allows it to handle high loads and accommodate misalignment. During use, PTFE particles are deposited on the running surface, filling in irregularities and creating a smooth and precise fit between components.
