Product Description
The GAR20-UK Elges is a rod end with a spherical plain bearing that has a steel-on-PTFE sliding contact, making it maintenance-free. It is designed to accommodate misalignment and supports radial forces in a tensile or compressive direction. It is commonly used at the end of hydraulic or pneumatic cylinders and for connecting two shafts. This plain bearing has a run-in period where PTFE particles are deposited on the opposite running surface to create a smooth fit.
