Product Description
The GAKSR5-PS INA is a rod end featuring a spherical plain bearing with a steel-on-PTFE sliding contact, making it maintenance-free. This innovative plain bearing consists of inner and outer rings without rolling elements, allowing it to accommodate misalignment and support radial forces in a tensile or compressive direction. During the run-in period, PTFE particles are deposited on the opposite running surface, filling in small irregularities to create a perfectly fitting, smooth surface. This rod end is commonly used at the end of hydraulic or pneumatic cylinders and for connecting two shafts.
