Product Description
The GAKSL12-PS Elges is a maintenance-free rod end with a steel-on-PTFE sliding contact spherical plain bearing. It is designed to accommodate misalignment and support radial forces in a tensile or compressive direction. Ideal for use at the end of hydraulic or pneumatic cylinders, this rod end connects two shafts. During the run-in period, PTFE particles are deposited on the opposite running surface, filling in small irregularities to create a smooth surface for a perfect fit.
