Rely on Ecoglo®’s F7-E30 Photoluminescent Anodized Flat Stair Nosing to provide excellent step-edge visibility and enhances egress speeds in all lighting conditions. Our expertly engineered photoluminescent strip is integrally bonded into the aluminum stair nosing, along with a non-slip strip, which provides a stark color contrast, further enhancing step edge visibility. After the power fails in your facility, rely on this luminous egress path marking product to cut through shadows and provide a bright, easy to follow source of egress lighting. The sleek aluminum profile of Ecoglo®’s stair nosing provides a modern look to any facility, without distracting from the facility’s design. To best meet the needs of any project, our metal stair nosing can easily be installed on a range of substrates, such as concrete, timber, tile, steel and checker plate. The safety of all people in a facility depends on a clear egress plan and advance site preparation including clear marking of escape routes. Photoluminescent egress marking systems installed in exit stairwells are a critical, code-required component of any building safety system. Inserts can be cut using a shear. Aluminum nosings are cut with a saw. Cutting inserts with saw will damage the saw blade. Weight: 0.439 lbs/ft. - The hard-wearing silicon carbide non-slip material is integrally bonded to the aluminum substrate. Thousands of people can walk on it with no signs of wear and tear.
- The thick anodized finish is aesthetically pleasing, prevents corrosion, and is extremely hard and abrasion resistant. The anodized aluminum surface is harder than pure aluminum, second only to diamonds hard crystalline structure.

- Tested to accelerated UV/weathering exposure, and proven to be highly resistant to the effects of UV/weathering.
- The loss in performance is less than can be detected by the human eye when subjected to 6000 hours of UV exposure, which is similar to 30 years of outdoor exposure.
- The polymer used in Ecoglo’s patented process is “long chain” which forms a strong UV resistant product when bonding.
