AKL.D3 INA

The AKL.D3 INA is a single direction thrust ball bearing also known as a ball thrust bearing or axial deep groove ball bearing. It consists of a shaft ring, a housing ring, and a ball and cage assembly. These bearings are open in design and suitable for high rotational speeds. They can only be loaded axially in one direction and are not meant to be loaded radially. The components can be easily mounted separately and disassembled. When assembling the bearing, it’s important not to mix up the shaft and housing ring. The shaft ring is attached to the shaft and rotates with it, while the housing ring has a slightly larger bore diameter to allow the shaft to pass with some clearance.
