Product Description
The 8984YY Bower is a type of single direction thrust ball bearings, also known as ball thrust bearings or axial deep groove ball bearings. These bearings are designed with a shaft ring, a housing ring, and a ball and cage assembly, and are suitable for high rotational speeds due to their open design and ball construction. They can only handle axial loads in one direction, making them ideal for locking shafts in place, while radial loads should be avoided. The bearings can be easily disassembled and assembled, but caution must be taken to avoid mixing up the shaft and housing ring.
