Product Description
The 72487 Bower is an outer ring designed to combine with a separately available cone to form a complete tapered roller bearing. Its conical raceways and roller elements enable it to absorb radial and axial forces, and its design minimizes sliding movements to reduce wear. The cup is separable, allowing for easy mounting and adjustment of axial clearance or preload. For reliable operation, it is recommended to replace both the cup and cone at the same time from the same manufacturer to avoid potential bearing problems.
