Product Description
The 66212 Bower is a removable cone designed for a single-row tapered roller bearing, featuring inner ring and rollers, making up a complete bearing when paired with a separately available cup. Its conical raceways and tapered rollers allow for absorption of radial and axial forces in one direction, while preventing sliding movements and minimizing component wear. The separable cone and cup make for easy mounting and adjustment of axial clearance or preload during assembly. For optimal performance, it is recommended to replace both cone and cup simultaneously, and to use components from the same manufacturer to prevent potential bearing problems.
