Product Description
The 553X Tyson is an outer ring cup designed for a single-row tapered roller bearing. When combined with a compatible cone, it forms a complete tapered roller bearing capable of handling radial and axial forces in one direction. The conical raceways and roller elements allow for efficient force absorption. The separable design facilitates easy mounting and adjustment of axial clearance or preload. For optimal performance, replace both the cone and cup at the same time, choosing components from the same manufacturer to prevent bearing problems caused by differences in internal bearing profiles, material, and tolerances. Always pair the 553X Tyson with a matching cone from the same manufacturer for reliable operation.
