Product Description
The 53306 Steyr belongs to single direction thrust ball bearings, known for their open design and suitability for high rotational speeds. These bearings consist of a shaft ring, housing ring, and ball and cage assembly, enabling axial loading in one direction and preventing radial loading. The disassemblability of the bearings allows for easy mounting of the components separately, though caution is advised to avoid mixing up the shaft and housing rings during assembly. Additionally, the housing ring of the 53306 Steyr features a spherical seat, allowing for combination with a spherical adjustment ring or pad (sold separately) to prevent misalignment between the shaft and housing.
