Product Description
The 53306 Steyr is a type of single direction thrust ball bearing, also known as a ball thrust bearing or axial deep groove ball bearing. It consists of a shaft ring, housing ring, and ball and cage assembly, with an open design suitable for high rotational speeds. These bearings can only be loaded axially in one direction, allowing for shaft locking in that direction. The components can be easily mounted separately after disassembly, but caution should be taken not to mix up the shaft and housing rings during assembly. The housing ring of the 53306 Steyr features a spherical seat, allowing for combination with a spherical adjustment ring or pad (sold separately) to prevent misalignments between the shaft and housing.
