Product Description
The 532A Bower is an outer ring cup specifically designed for a single-row tapered roller bearing. It can be combined with a compatible cone to create a complete tapered roller bearing. The conical raceways and roller elements allow the bearing to absorb radial and axial forces in one direction. The geometrical features of tapered roller bearings minimize sliding movements, reducing component wear. It is important to ensure proper operation by replacing both the cone and cup simultaneously and using components from the same manufacturer to avoid bearing problems caused by differences in bearing profiles, material, and tolerances.
