Product Description
The 53209 SKF is a single direction thrust ball bearing, also called a ball thrust bearing or axial deep groove ball bearing. It’s designed with a shaft ring, a housing ring, and a ball and cage assembly, making it suitable for high rotational speeds. With an open design, it can only handle axial loads in one direction, allowing for a locked shaft. The bearing’s components can be easily disassembled and assembled separately, with a caution to avoid mixing up the shaft and housing rings. Additionally, the spherical seat of the housing ring allows for combination with a spherical adjustment ring or pad to prevent misalignments.
