Product Description
The 53209 FAG is a type of single direction thrust ball bearing, designed for high rotational speeds. It consists of a shaft ring, housing ring, and ball and cage assembly, with an open design. These bearings can only handle axial loads in one direction and should not be subjected to radial loads. The housing ring has a slightly larger bore diameter to allow for clearance, and the bearing components can be easily mounted separately. The housing ring features a spherical seat, allowing it to be combined with a spherical adjustment ring or pad to prevent misalignments.
