Product Description
The 525 BCA Federal Mogul is a removable cone for a single-row tapered roller bearing, consisting of the inner ring and rollers. When paired with a separately available cup (or outer ring), it forms a complete tapered roller bearing. The cone and cup have conical raceways, allowing the bearing to absorb radial and axial forces in one direction. Its design minimizes component wear by preventing sliding movements between the raceways and rollers. Adjustable end play or preload and easy assembly are additional benefits. For optimal performance and longevity, it’s recommended to replace the cone and cup together and to use matching components from the same manufacturer to prevent bearing problems caused by differences in internal profiles, material, and tolerances.
