Product Description
The 51410 FAG is a single direction thrust ball bearing also known as a ball thrust bearing or axial deep groove ball bearing. It consists of a shaft ring, a housing ring, and a ball and cage assembly, making it suitable for high rotational speeds. These bearings can only handle axial load in one direction, making them ideal for locking a shaft in place. They are not designed to handle radial loads. The bearing can be easily disassembled for separate mounting, but caution should be taken to avoid mixing up the shaft and housing rings during assembly. Note that the 51410 FAG has a flat seat, so it cannot compensate for misalignment between the shaft and housing.
