Product Description
The 51317 URB is a single direction thrust ball bearing, also known as a ball thrust bearing or an axial deep groove ball bearing. It consists of a shaft ring, a housing ring, and a ball and cage assembly, with an open design suitable for high rotational speeds.
These bearings can only be loaded axially in one direction, locking the shaft in place, and must not be loaded radially. The components are easily disassembled and mounted separately, but be careful not to mix up the shaft and housing ring during assembly. The housing ring has a flat seat, so the bearing cannot compensate for any misalignment between the shaft and housing.
