Product Description
The 51224 SKF is a single direction thrust ball bearing, ideal for high rotational speeds. With a shaft ring, housing ring, and ball and cage assembly, this bearing is designed for axial load in one direction, while not being suitable for radial load. The open design allows for easy disassembly and separate mounting of components. However, it’s important to avoid mixing up the shaft and housing rings during assembly. Keep in mind that the flat seat of the housing ring means this bearing cannot compensate for shaft and housing misalignment.
