Product Description
The 51208MP FAG is a single direction thrust ball bearing, designed for high rotational speeds. It consists of a shaft ring, housing ring, and ball and cage assembly. This open design allows for axial loading in one direction, preventing radial loading. The bearing can be disassembled for separate component mounting, but caution should be taken to avoid mixing up the shaft and housing ring during assembly. It should be noted that the bearing cannot compensate for misalignment between the shaft and housing due to its flat seat design.
