Product Description
The 51208 Koyo (JTEKT) is a single-direction thrust ball bearing, designed for high rotational speeds. Comprising a shaft ring, a housing ring, and a ball and cage assembly, it can only be loaded axially in one direction, making it ideal for locking a shaft in place. These bearings can be disassembled, and the components mounted separately, though care should be taken to avoid mixing up the shaft and housing rings during assembly. Note that this bearing lacks the ability to compensate for misalignment between the shaft and housing due to its flat seat housing ring.
