Product Description
The 51168-MP FAG is a single direction thrust ball bearing, also known as a ball thrust bearing or axial deep groove ball bearing. It is designed with a shaft ring, housing ring, and ball and cage assembly for high rotational speeds.
These bearings are suitable for axial loading in one direction and should not be loaded radially. The shaft ring attaches to the shaft and rotates with it, while the housing ring has a slightly larger bore diameter for clearance.
This bearing can be easily disassembled for separate mounting, but care should be taken not to mix up the shaft and housing ring during assembly. The flat seat of the housing ring does not compensate for misalignment between the shaft and housing.
