Product Description
The 51115 SNR is a type of single direction thrust ball bearing, commonly known as ball thrust bearings or axial deep groove ball bearings. It is designed with a shaft ring, housing ring, and ball and cage assembly, making it suitable for high rotational speeds. These bearings can only handle axial loads in one direction, locking the shaft in place, and should not be loaded radially. The housing ring features a slightly larger bore diameter to allow clearance for the shaft. It can be disassembled for easy mounting, but caution must be taken not to mix up the shaft and housing rings during assembly. Additionally, the flat seat of the housing ring means that the bearing cannot compensate for any misalignment between the shaft and housing.
