Product Description
The 51109 Conrad is a single-direction thrust ball bearing, also known as a ball thrust bearing or axial deep groove ball bearing. It features a shaft ring, housing ring, and ball and cage assembly. These bearings are open in design and suitable for high rotational speeds. They can only handle axial loads in one direction, locking the shaft in place in that direction. The bearing can be disassembled for easy mounting, but caution should be taken not to mix up the shaft and housing rings. The housing ring has a flat seat, meaning it cannot compensate for misalignment between the shaft and housing.
