Product Description
The 51101 SBC is a single direction thrust ball bearing, also known as a ball thrust bearing or axial deep groove ball bearing. It features a shaft ring, a housing ring, and a ball and cage assembly in an open design, making it suitable for high rotational speeds. These bearings can only be loaded axially in one direction, allowing the shaft to be locked in that direction. The components can be easily disassembled and mounted separately, but caution must be taken to avoid mixing up the shaft and housing ring during assembly. It has a flat seat housing ring, so it cannot compensate for shaft and housing misalignment.
