Product Description
The 4T-782 NTN is a cone for a single-row tapered roller bearing, consisting of the inner ring and rollers for the bearing. When paired with a separate cup, it forms a complete tapered roller bearing. The conical raceways and tapered rollers enable the bearing to absorb radial and axial forces in one direction without sliding movement, minimizing wear. It’s easily mountable, and end play or preload can be adjusted during assembly. For reliable operation, it’s best to replace both cone and cup at the same time from the same manufacturer to prevent bearing problems caused by differences in internal bearing profiles, material, and tolerances.
