Product Description
The 498 A&S – Fersa cone is a component of a single-row tapered roller bearing. It includes the inner ring and rollers, and when combined with a compatible cup (outer ring), forms a complete bearing. This design allows the bearing to handle radial and axial forces in one direction without sliding, minimizing wear. It’s easily mountable and allows for axial adjustment of clearance or preload during assembly. For optimal performance, replace both the cone and cup together from the same manufacturer to prevent potential bearing issues.
