Product Description
The 49520 Bower is the outer ring of a single-row tapered roller bearing that can be paired with a separate cone to create a complete bearing. Its conical raceways and roller elements allow it to withstand radial and axial forces, with increased axial load capacity at greater angles. The design minimizes sliding movements and component wear, but it requires a minimum load for proper operation. The separable components make mounting and adjusting end play or preload easy. For optimal performance, it’s recommended to replace both the cone and cup simultaneously and use components from the same manufacturer to avoid compatibility issues.
