Product Description
The 44348 Bower is an outer ring designed to be paired with a separately available cone, forming a complete tapered roller bearing. Its conical raceways and roller elements allow it to absorb radial and axial forces, and the greater the angle, the greater the axial load capacity. The design prevents sliding movements between the raceways and rollers, reducing wear. It’s easily mountable and adjustable for axial clearance or preload. For reliable operation, it’s recommended to replace both cone and cup, and to use matching components from the same manufacturer.
