Product Description
The 4305B/TG/MT15 Steyr is a single direction thrust ball bearing also known as a ball thrust bearing or axial deep groove ball bearing. It consists of a shaft ring, a housing ring, and a ball and cage assembly. These open-design bearings are suitable for high rotational speeds and can only be loaded axially in one direction, allowing a shaft to be locked in place. They can be disassembled, making it easy to mount the components separately, but it’s important not to mix up the shaft and housing ring during assembly. The shaft ring is attached to the shaft and rotates with it, while the housing ring has a slightly larger bore diameter to accommodate the shaft with some clearance.
