Product Description
The 3578 Bower is the inner ring and rollers of a single-row tapered roller bearing which, when combined with a separately available cup, forms a complete bearing. The design allows the bearing to absorb radial and axial forces in one direction, preventing sliding movements between raceways and rollers and minimizing wear. It is easily mounted and allows for adjustment of axial clearance or preload during assembly. For reliable operation, it is recommended to replace both the cone and cup at the same time and to use components from the same manufacturer to prevent bearing problems.
