Product Description
The 2901 NSK is a single direction thrust ball bearing, also known as a ball thrust bearing or axial deep groove ball bearing. It includes a shaft ring, a housing ring, and a ball and cage assembly. These bearings have an open design and are suitable for high rotational speeds. They can only handle axial loads in one direction, allowing a shaft to be locked in place. Care should be taken when assembling the bearing to avoid mixing up the shaft and housing rings. The shaft ring is attached to the shaft and the housing ring has a slightly larger bore diameter to allow clearance for the shaft to pass through.
